Current environmental and anthropological contexts are enlivening the creative interplay between clay and the figure. Earthly Bodies at Sarah Myerscough Gallery explores the latest ceramic practices informed by the traces of a living body. Moderated by writer and curator Martina Margetts, artists Julian Stair, Jonathan Keep and Mella Shaw will discuss the creation of contemporary relics amidst themes of containment, metamorphosis and bodily memory.
