San Francisco’s FOG Art Fair opened with a gala on Wednesday night, with top collectors from around the globe gathering to both add to their collections as well as purchase pieces to donate to SFMoMA. It was a beautiful evening, with exquisite fashion, flowing champagne, and some of the most well-curated booths the festival has ever presented (which were thoroughly explored by attendee Nancy Pelosi). Traditional mediums were juxtaposed to some of the world’s greatest functional designers, with everything from Max Lamb’s poly dining set (featured at the Salon 954 Design Gallery booth) to Jie Wu’s intricate glass work at the FUMI Booth.
